Show me another »Golf hybrids related - read details please?
I want to try and replace my 3-Iron, which I do not hit too well with the equivilant hybrid. I know that I want to look for a hybrid of about 20-21 degrees according to golfsmith's website, but I was wondering where I could find a recomendation on what type of shaft to go with? Thanks guys!

Most good ranges and many better golf stores have either a good launch monitor or the type with a screen that you hit into that gives you carry and distance. They calibrate the machine to the club you are hitting and you hit they hybrid you want with the different flex shafts. The machine and screen reveal swing speed, launch angle and side spin to help the person that is servicing you recommend the right shaft. Also, many manufactures sites have guides that estimate the shaft based on how far you hit certain clubs.

- I would suggest that you go with a shaft you are comfortable with. I personally can not for the life of me hit any club with a graphite shaft well, so i rarely hit my driver at all. As far as brands, go to a local golf shop and hit them all and see what your comfortable with.0% 0 Votes
- Club shaft stiffness is determined by club head speed being generated at impact. Unless you hit the ball exceptionally long distances, you should select a regular stiffness shaft.0% 0 Votes
